I went to Darwin Writers’ Festival in 2014 to sit on a couple of (humid) panels with Jen Jewel Brown, Bernard Zuel, Mark Mordue and Mark Smith (of Music NT). I also did a three-hour workshop for a group on music writing – that ultimately developed into my Guardian masterclass.
